Ignite the Fire: Incendiary struck a match; Ignite the Fire: Inferno brings a firestorm!

Cassie Palmer, once a down on her luck clairvoyant and now the chief seer of the supernatural world, is in the fight of her life. While on a rescue mission in Faerie, she is kidnapped by a king of the fey named Aeslinn. He is her sworn enemy and has every reason to want to kill her, yet instead he offers a trade: her life for that of her lover, John Pritkin.

Cassie doesn't know what the king's game is, only that it involves his alliance with Zeus, the head of the ancient pantheon who used to rule all of Earth and who is determined to do so again. In order to save her lover, and the world, she has to figure out what Zeus and his royal puppet are up to. She also has to stop them, even if it means taking on the king of the gods himself.

so did not like the narration... she sounded like a robot. story was just so busy that I had a hard time keeping up with it all.( both books -last and next to last book). totally love this series, but the last 2.. eh.

Book is excellent and follows the series with great new plot twists and character development. Sadly this narrator does not do the book justice.

Book is amazing

I literally checked to see if this was a human reader or if I somehow brought a Text-to-Speech version. I should have just bought the ebook and let my phone read it to me, because that's what this is!

I still can't fully believe this is a human reader. Did they run the whole performance through some kind of robot voice effect? It's more than emotionless reading. It doesn't sound anything like a human! It's absolutely bizarre. Seriously. Who thought this was okay. I've been an Audible subscriber for 12 years and I have never listened to anything even remotely close to this bad.

Book itself is great. Just buy the ebook. If you're like me and have visual impairments, you're still better off with the ebook. Just use Text-to-Speech. Sucks for a novel, I know, but this isn't any better.

Dear Audible: please explain what you were thinking when you published this.

Seriously, what is wrong with the reader?!

It's a fun series and well written, but the reader, when she's not doing voices is a bit slow and monotonous. I wish I'd discovered it sooner, but I sped the rate up to 1.20 and it was a whole lot better. I does nothing about mispronounced words, but it's better.

The narrator returns. This time, the robotic voice got an emotion chip. This time, it actually mostly understands language. And mostly understands how emotion works. Kinda. It still doesn't really understand where pauses go, in sentences. Or really, how to even end sentences in more than one tone of voice.

Worst narrator ever, it's really distracting having such a bad narrator.

The robotic narrator is back!

I love the book but the narrator sounded like a computer. I tried speeding up and slowing it down and it just was awful.

Was the narrator a computer?

The AI sounding voice is rough to listen too for long periods of time. I love the story and miss the previous reader before the AI BOT sounding thing they got going on.

The voice…

I loved this series but the narration is AWFUL. Totally ruins the story. It’s like having a robot torture your ears.

Terrible narrator
