Impact of author reading the book himself

Who knows the story and feelings to be conveyed to the reader/listener better than the author of the book himself! I read this book, as well as listened to the audio version. The audio version brought to life each of the characters and his/her individual roles. The author’s diction and varied dialects provided a third dimension that is often missing in mundane-read audible books.

Great storyline; great narrator

I loved this book when I first read it a few years ago, but the audiobook takes it over the edge to make it one the most fun books I’ve enjoyed in years.
