The narrator has a beautiful voice, smooth as silk. the music is beautiful. The story is lovely. My seventh grader and I enjoyed every moment. I hope Jax survived the injuries.

A lot of story packed into a short listen. I found this tale to be quite enjoyable.

Darryl Johnson II did a great job with not only the writing and narrating, but also with the musical score that accompanied. The music really brought everything together.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Authored and narrated by Darryl Johnson II, this was a great little fantasy tale. Something you can share with the whole family. The author might not go into a lot of detail, but he provides enough to keep you entertained. And that leads to the only downfall of this tale. It is too short.

As a narrator he is competent. From maintaining a proper reading cadence throughout to his consistency of maintaining each character's individual voice. It's rare to hear a writer that can pen a good story and then read it back to you so well.

Editing, quality, and production were on par with most books I have listened to. It was clear, with no issue with sound or quality. To that note, I am not a fan of music or Foley work in any audiobook but this one did it very well.
