Self insert incel bull dropings

Largest batch of self insert incel male Bull droppings I have ever read, and this is coming from a southern redneck dude. Main character has "sexual magic" that can cause woman to orgasm. Come on...

This author is a great narrator.

This author is a great narrator and I don't think anyone else could do this justice. I listen in bed and a few times I hoped I didn't wake my hubby when I started to chuckle. Good stories about Ian's team trying to keep Las Vegas magicals under control and keeping the non magicals safe. I don't know where he gets these characters from. The stories are snarky and many sexual related jokes (so beware if that is not your cup of tea). It really is an enjoyable listen and so many hours of entertainment for 1 credit is worth it. I do wish we knew more about the council Ian is always answering to. It seems like they want him to always do a fantastic job while withholding information that his team could use. Disclosure I received this book set from the author for an honest review. (I already had the kindle books for this series but had not gotten to them yet.) So glad I didn't cause his voice was probably what made this so enjoyable.

Easy listening

I listen to A LOT of Audible audiobooks, but there is something about the guy who plays the voice of Ian Dex that is positive and makes the whole thing special.

My favorite Las Vegas

I can never get enough of Ian Dex and the PPD gang and now I can listen to them when I don’t have time to read. I received a copy of these audio books in exchange for a review. And I really do recommend you check them out. And hopefully you won’t die laughing!

Hours of laughs from a fantastic author!

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This series is an absolute blast! I'm a huge fan of sarcastic banter between characters and a good dose of action sprinkled in with the dialogue. Logsdon has a knack for delivering on both fronts while holding the individual stories together from start to finish.

The narration is excellent. Each character comes to life as an individual piece of the story. As a narrator, Logsdon brings these stories to life and shows that he takes pride in both the writing and narration of his works.

The overall value, for a single credit, is a no-brainer. You won't regret grabbing this one.

Characters

I really liked this book. The characters were all quite entertaining. I laughed so often, usually during the debriefing with the higher-ups, in particular the pixie EQK. The witty ribbings and come backs were hilarious. For a comedy Sci-fi, that are not my normal go-to reads, I can't wait to listen to other books by the same authors.

WOW!!

I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review. I loved this series. great characters, great stories. Took me a little bit to get through. I listen to these at work and I'm able to, on average, get about 4hrs in on an 8hr work day. I hated having to stop it at the end of the day. So wanted to get more in, but when you have 3 kids under 5 waiting for you at home, it dont happen lol. thoroughly enjoyed this.

Fantastically funny urban fantasy

I had already read the Ian Dex books (great bundle) but it was great to hear the voices of the characters from one of the authors. The reading was good to listen to and fit the story type. There is a great mixture of laugh out loud humour, action and storyline with a team who are fun, sarcastic and neither perfect not pc. I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review which I was happy to do as I rely on reviews when making my choices.

Ugh!

Really disappointing. If you fancy listening to 30 hours of one-liners and sexist jokes then this is the book for you. Couldn’t listen past chapter 30 in book 1.

Hilariously funny, I wish there were more!!

Ian Dex is my kinda guy. John P. Logson was the perfect narrator intonation and inflection were spot on, so the recordings sound like actual conversation rather than someone reading out loud in class.
I'm glad I bought this box set as it will be listened to many more times to come.

Great Narration of a Great Series

First up - "I received a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review
I was lucky enough to be sent a copy as I had it already on my wishlist to purchase

I really enjoyed Johns reading of this series of books. I had read them already but it was great to hear how the actual author wanted the characters to sound like , and the inflections and tone greatly enhanced the enjoyment.

Cracked me up

I was give the set to listen and review by the author. I had listened to one of his other series and enjoyed so wanted to try another.

The concept was intriguing and caught my attention from the beginning. The idea of a police force of supernatural beings working together to stop others of their kind from committing crime against each other and ‘normals’ was great. Each tale is great individually but rounds-off nicely as a complete yarn it all comes together naturally.
Ian Dex is a good detective whose love life is regularly visited but in a fun way and not overly explicit so highly enjoyable for all.

I was laughing out loud at times and my daughter got hooked several times.
I look forward to reading and listening to other books in this author’s repertoire.

Love the humour and sarcasm

Format: audiobook
I have to say I’m so glad I came across this series, I was looking for something different and this certainly fit the bill with its it’s fun and sarcastic humour.
Bk 1: The Merging
This is a fantastic unit of the paranormal police department. Ian Dex is great character and I love the sarcastic humour from him and his team throughout the story even facing a deadly mage and his demons doesn’t dampen the humour.
I love that it’s the author narrating, he has a fantastic delivery and we get to experience the characters as the author intended them to be.

Bk 2: Grave Creatures
When Ian Dex gets a call about Zombies he thinks his team is playing at prank but nope, that’s not the case. Cue all the graveyard humour from the sarcastic leader of the PPD. My favourite being ‘When it come to cemetery’s I guess people were just dying to get in there’ 😂 I love the nick names Ian Dex gives the bad guys, in this book it’s ‘s#it face Fred’ the necromancer.

Bk 3: Blood Bane Tower
Ian Dex and his team need to defeat a dragon queen but before that he’ll need to navigate the 9 circles of hell leading to some hilarious exploits.
This really makes for an awesome audiobook especially with the author narrating.

Bk 4: London Growl
Ian Dex finds himself in London facing his most challenging nemesis so far, The humour never stops though and having sidekicks of a wannabe Sean Connery as 007 and a wannabe Sherlock Holmes makes for an interesting annoyance to Dex.

Bk 5: swarm of fire
An Uber Pixie is the one cause havoc here, the visual is hilarious and the final battle to this story was not what I expected and I have to admit had me chuckling.
I’m loving this series.

Bk 6: curse of fangs
An Uber vampire is causing havoc but on top of that Ian Dex has some personal changes to get to grips with! But with all this weird stuff going on who can he trust. These are great stories but the humour and sarcasm really adds to the enjoyment.

Bk 7: Clash of flames
There’s some revelations in this book that leaves Ian Dex with some tough choices! Along with the drama the humour and sarcasm continues.
The Kevin and the catapult bit had me spitting coffee, it tickled my funny bone, and watch out for how Ian tries to unlock a rune 😂 I need more of this author’s wit and delivery. I’ll certainly be looking for my next read by him.

Bonus story: The Bleeding
This story gives us a glimpse of Ian Dex as a trainee in the nether world PPD before he moves topside. a great short story showing up what Dex can do.

Bonus story: The Chief
Ian Dex is 2 years in to his role in the PPD and this story explains the event which led to him becoming chief

Bonus story: Blind Date
Omg, the author/narrator lost it and started laughing at a hilarious point in the story before recovering his composure and continued. I’m glad they left that in.
Ian Dex has a run in with ‘Kidnap Jack’ this leads to some funny interactions between the two. I’m loving Ian Dex and his sarcasm.
