IOU Love

“Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.” Romans 13:8 NIV Why does the bible claim that we owe a debt of love? Why love yourself and others? Why love your life? Why love God? Why be obedient to His laws of love? Because—the richness of His empowering kingdom is wrapped in the delicious delights and benefits enjoyed by the soul who obeys God’s call to love. Love fulfills the law. Come on a journey with us as we seek to discover how to love God, ourselves and others—perfectly. “God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love.
