Publisher's summary

Michael Knight is an excellent undercover cop and could take a joke. However, the recent jokes and pranks from his coworkers in regards to his name went too far when they messed with his truck. His fury leads to him walking out on the job he loves and a desire to hit something or someone, like the guy leaning on his truck.

Aaron Slade has worked alone undercover for the International Narcotics Enforcement & Tracking agency for years. When he's sent to meet his new partner, one he doesn't even want, sparks fly.

Fists soon follow as Slade deals with Knight's anger management issues over everything, but especially his INET training. All Knight wants is to be back in the field with his new partner, but it turns out that isn't the only thing Knight wants from Slade.

This book contains M/M sexual situations and graphic depictions of IV drug use. This novel is intended for listeners of legal age in the country in which they reside.

Meh

My biggest issue with this book is that the POV is all over the place. It’s annoying when I read a book like that, it’s downright frustrating when trying to listen to it. The plot is good but not good enough to make up for the POV issue. Also, too much time is spent repeating things that have already happened. The characters are likable but by the end there is still so much we don’t about them. Maybe it’s to encourage us to continue the series but I was left feeling like the characters didn’t develop much and I really don’t care to read or listen to the next book.

INET

The story was decent. Between the transitional parts of the story, the guitar lick... I found it distracting from the story and obnoxiously loud.

Great Story

Loved the story but it really needed q new narrator. It was almost too distracting to listen too. If I could see, I would have just read the book, but dint have the option. If you can, choose to read it yourself. the voice was too old and spit sounding.

Good story. Good narration.

I am always interested in a Brenda Cothern series. There is just something about the characters she creates and the situations they find themselves in that makes for a satisfying story. This is definitely one of the more polished stories by Cothern, and I look forward to seeing how this series plays out.

The narration by Michael Vasicek is a nice bonus. His voice is nicely suited to the story and characters.

story okay, didn't like the narrator

the story was okay. I hope the second installment of the series is better than this one, not a very good start.

Horrible narration

What disappointed you about I.N.E.T.?

If i could get my money back for this book i would....Will never buy another book with this narrator. Horrible. Horrible.

What was one of the most memorable moments of I.N.E.T.?

I love this series, and thought the audible version would be good, I was so wrong, save your money and just read the book.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Michael Vasicek?

Tristan James, Sean Crisden, Joel Leslie, i think just about anyone else could have done a better job.

What character would you cut from I.N.E.T.?

I wouldn't cut any of the characters, i love how they all interact.

Any additional comments?

Don't buy the audible version, reading the book is your best bet. Change narrator's!!!!!!!
