I, Suicide

Suicide is a scary, taboo topic. No one wants to talk about it, and most fear that a loved one, he or she knows, could commit the act. Suicide is a right, but it is generally a selfish act. It is quite possible, as the age of wellbeing becomes a reality, that suicide will become more socially acceptable. There is a right way and a wrong way to commit suicide. Society has often mistreated the bereaved and has not correctly recognized them as the victims of suicide. Suicide is committed for many different reasons, it has always been with human populations, and it will be part of the human experience until we go extinct.

Terrible

Terribly biased book working to keep the terrible stereotypes of suicide strong. I’m not sure what the goal of this book would have been.

Blame and shame

This perspective of suicidality is aligned with the same flawed concept that mental health disorders are mythical. This book deserves immediate ban, as it does nothing more than lead those with intrusive thoughts to feel guilty for experiencing emotional distress and anguish. Shameful compilation of the shallow end of the pool of reality.
