Good book

Aside from the fact that the reader sounded a lot like Bobby Hill than she did Janis, I enjoyed this book.

Funny, sad and historic!

I am a huge Janis Joplin fan so naturally this book caught my attention. While this book does inform about Janis and Haight-Ashbury it is about Caserta’s life. Peggy used humor to convey the stories from her wild life. She gives a raw look into addiction, prison, relationships, financial hardship and caring for an aging mother. I thought this piece was great!

Loved story line. Reader was excellent. Would like to hear more like this if true or not.

how she managed to live after everything she went through amazes me and the famous people she met before anyone knew who they were

Good narrative and narrator

This story took me back. Authentic, honest. The narrator did a good job, too. Glad I bought this book.

What a ride!

What a wild ride! I didn't want to like this one at the beginning. But her story just drew me in and I finished it in a matter of days. Worth the read, for sure, if you're curious about life in the hippie sixties and beyond.
