I No Longer Dream

In 2018, I suffered a massive cerebral stroke at the age of 24 after cracking my neck. I woke up in a hospital with little knowledge of myself, the world, or any grounding in reality because of the damage to my brain, along with left-sided paralysis.

I am not the person I was before, and though I want to be them again, I can't. I must bury them, grieve, and start over. This is how I came to terms with my new existence while letting go of my past. Not because I want to, but because it is a requirement to move forward.
