An fun romp through space there are its dark moments. I couldn't stop listening and like many books by Stacy Bender I want more of these characters

Such a fun story

The way Bender writes her characters makes them almost alive. I really love the Sav'ine books and figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out. I was not disapointed. This story is fun, cute, and funny; filled with action and adventure.

Crocodiles, Monkeys, and Alice Cooper Dolls.

I Like Alice is a straightforward recommendation. If you like the episodes of Star Trek where they are on a space station solving some problem, you're going to love this book. If you like Crocodile-people, you will love this boo. If you like Alice Cooper, you will like this book, since he appears in doll form (Or, that's the image in my head while listening).

The narration fits perfectly. Theo Holland has narrated several of Stacy Bender's books, and its very clear that he has a good understanding of how Stacy writes. He also puts on various voices for the various characters. I really love the way the characters interact with each other. There are 3 distinct species which we see through our various protagonists, and the way they see each situation they are found in are so different and expressed so clearly, it's just a lot of fun.

A humorous science fiction story with action.

This is a great introduction to an interesting universe. Stacy Bender does a great job at mixing science fiction with humor and action. While the cast of characters truly do not know much about each other what better time to learn than by being thrown into a life or death situation.

I truly hope that Stacy Bender keeps this cast alive and add to the universe she has just started to create.
