Deepti is a strong soul! She went through a lot but held her head up and showed the world she's a tough and beautiful human being!

Gossip read.

No judgement on anyone’s life.
Deepti has her own story. Personally for me wasn’t as interesting as I had hoped.
The writing itself was horrible. The writing was as if she was text talking to the editor.

This book had some key concepts but overall could just be a short conversation. This wasn’t a compelling story to me or anything out of the ordinary. Many great autobiographies this doesn’t come close.

I hope you read this. I listened to your entire boy in a day and I cried from how much I could relate to it. Crazy thing is I was also born in Hyderabad india and lived there until I was 5 years old and moved to the states so I def felt every single one of your struggles. It was amazing to hear your experience and motivated me a lot to face mine. Please continue to do what you’re doing. You’re truly an inspiration.

After the show..

After being a viewer of the season, I felt interest in reading the book. Deepti was strong in sharing her journey and story. As someone who struggles with self image and anxiety, it’s nice to always be reminded that we are not alone. This story shared her life and changes along the way while finding herself all the while. It was a good representation of herself and nice to hear the trueness of her side of the love is blind journey.

Love it absolutely inspiring, I enjoy it and finished it in a couple of days! I was in a relationship where I seen so many red flags and was being unappreciated and eventually ended it. I've grown so much since and expect nothing but the best I deserve it!

She was my favorite on the show but now I get to see a whole new side of her. Her story is so inspiring vulnerable and relatable.

I truly enjoyed learning all about the life and experiences that brought Deepti to “choose herself.” I feel like all women can relate to a lot of the feelings/insecurities described in her story. All women should read this book. Teenage girls should read this book. There’s many lessons to be learned from it. Thank you for allowing us a peek into your life.
