Publisher's Summary

A package offering a simple, effective self-hypnosis technique that has helped thousands of people become free of their addictive behaviour and can help you quit for good, too.

Celebrity psychotherapist and hypnotherapist Susan Hepburn has worked with thousands of men and women struggling with addiction. Using a simple yet highly effective self-hypnosis technique, she can help you to 'quit' your particular addiction for good. Written in an easy-to read style with plenty of questionnaires, self help tips, information boxes and case histories, this book can liberate you from addiction and help you to enjoy life again. During hypnotherapy, you will be able to access your subconscious mind - the part of your mind that controls urges and impulses - and effectively 'delete' the behaviours and thoughts that control your addictive behaviour in the first place. You will then be able to 'reprogram' your mind with life-enhancing thoughts and behaviours. Just listening to this download on a regular basis will do all this for you.

Does exactly what it says on the cover

I was puzzled reading other reviews : why would people expect a book on addiction to be entertaining?

The first part of the book has 2 purposes :
1. Educate on how different addictions are born and work
2. Explaining how to make the best use of the "CD" (here, the hypnosis part of the recording)

Then the second part of the book is the very effective hypnosis recording.

I stopped smoking cigarettes years ago thanks to Susan Hepburn and know it won't be a problem for me anymore.
I wasn't ready to stop my other addiction the first time I used this, so I used it to lower my consumption first and monitoring it a couple of years back.
Now that I am ready again, it was easy to choose her to help me again after she changed my life for the better twice already.

I can only recommend if you're looking for more than entertainment. ;)

An interesting subject made dull

What disappointed you about Hypnoquit?

While the content was interesting, the narrator was not!

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator's voice is dull and monotonous and while this is an advantage when inducing hypnosis, it is an undesirable quality when the author is intending to convey information on a conscious level. The book would have been much more enjoyable had someone read it with an interesting and engaging voice.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
