Interesting
This an interesting introduction to the hydroponics. The chapters are well detailed. As a beginner myself, I believe this is a good reference book for beginners. Joel McMahan has a great voice, pleasant to listen to.

Good Primer on a less known Science
As a subject that very few of us have knowledge, this is an interesting read.
Many of us could gain a great deal of knowledge from this Audio book and use it to change how they buy and consume food.

Very basic primer
This is a very basic primer to Hydroponics. If you have no prior exposure to the basic care and life of a plant, no idea what hydroponics is or how it came about, this might be a good place for you to start. There are some basic ideas laid out for rudimentary systems, including measurements, fertilizers, lighting, and problem solving.
