Publisher's summary

This is the final book in the highly acclaimed Black Lotus series, a dark psychosexual thriller like no other.

I've come to learn there is no escaping your past. It doesn't matter what you do, it will follow like a phantom - haunting you, reminding you.

Due to the dark and explicit nature of this book, it is recommended for mature audiences only, as some scenes may be particularly disturbing.

WOW! Loved it!

What did you love best about Hush?

The story was intense! The characters were complex & tragic! The writing was excellent in the whole series. And the author is quite a story teller! I teared up at many points in the story. It made me think about how some people can come into the world with a cloud over them & have a life full of one tragedy after another. One bad decision leads to another & the domino effect kicks in throughout their lives...many times through no fault of their own.

Have you listened to any of Elena Wolfe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She brings the characters to life to a point where you feel the emotions.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The world is full of judgmental people...if you were born into my life, what choices would you make?

Any additional comments?

I would give the whole series 5 stars. I gave 'Hush' 4 stars because of the ending. I liked the ending basically, but at the same time, certain aspects were a little on the weird side. But overall I loved all 3 books. I love a story that can make me 'feel'.

Awesomeness

This series grabbed me by the throat, tossed me around like a hamster in a dryer, and had the perfect ending...

HUSH, ON AUDIO, IS LIKE LIVING ELIZABETH'S(Nina) REALITY, EVERY WILD MINUTE OF IT!!!

I loved reading HUSH by E.K BLAIR, but listening to HUSH as an audiobook is a whole different experience, it's like living the reality of Elizabeth(Nina's) Archer's moments yourself. You feel the adrenaline as your heart beats fast, her anxiety and fear as your own amps up, know her anger as you become angry and want to lash out too, cry her tears of sadness and heartache as your tears well up, yearn for Declan's hands, lips, his everything, when he loves her heart, body, and soul and wish you had yourself a Declan. As you listen to the amazingly written book of HUSH from the Black Lotus Series and the final book of the trilogy after Bang and Echo from the talented author E.K Blair, you'll experience many emotions, it will be a wild and exhilarating ride, best roller coaster ride you'll ever experience right at home and all from a book!! The voice of Elena Wolfe as Elizabeth(Nina) is perfect, better than the voice I had in my head while reading HUSH, because Elena is Elizabeth, she becomes one with her and makes it her own!!! Be sure to get HUSH Audiobook of The Black Lotus Series by E.k Blair, read and/or listen to Bang, and then Echo before HUSH, get all three audiobooks and have yourself a Black Lotus Party, invite Carnegie, the Caterpillar 🐛to join you!!!! HUSH BY E.K BLAIR, 5 ⭐️ if I could, I'd give it 10⭐️!!! HUSH AUDIOBOOK BY E.K BLAIR

Wonderful tearful and beautiful story

I can’t believe this story line. It is so real life but sad about abuse, mental illness, love, anger, revenge.
It the most moving series that I have ever read.
Still crying till the end!

A first for me, but certainly not the last!

I've no idea how this series got past me all these years of Audiobooks, but I'm almost speechless! Though I must warn, this is a pretty dark series, I ALMOST put it down in the 1st book, but Blair kept me so far on the edge of my seat, I kept saying to myself "OMG!", and then another "Uuuuh....speechless"!!! , that by the time I was a fourth of the way through it, I KNEW I simply could NOT put it down!! I know it will pull you in, toss you around, and toss you out at the end still wondering what the heck just hit you! I laughed, cried, cringed, and literally felt exhausted at points, as the series is such a major roller coaster of twists and turns so far out of the "normal" expectancy of a novel. I'm half scared any and all others will be left in the SHADOWS after listening to the series! Yes, it really is THAT great! Narration was equally as wonderful, and Elena Wolf truly shines in all her glory from the petite little Elizabeth, to the mouth watering sexy Declan, it's no secret she is obviously well versed in her styles, material, and profession.

If you're looking for the same old run of the mill thriller/novel - this is NOT IT!! I could absolutely have listened to "some other book", which so closely resembled a million other books read or listened to, to the point that if I changed the name of the characters, and Titles, you may not know the difference! This is NOT the same old hum -drum run of the mill series. Fair warning!! But that's EXACTLY what brought me TO this series to BEGIN WITH!! "Girl see's Boy, Boy meets Girl, a bit of DRAMA occurs, and then they live happily ever after". See, I just summed up about 95% of MOST of our libraries!!

NOT this one!!

It's not always nice, and it's certainly not always pretty, it's almost like watching a car spinning out of control on ice - towards the edge of a CLIFF, and in slow motion!! You know it's going in the WRONG direction, and something bad COULD happen, but being completely unable to look the other way! ( I would personally stand there, hoping and praying that there were some sort of divine intervention even AFTER seeing it careening over the edge). Some books would even have little hands grasping onto a tree root, or a boulder, as a means to pull it all together nicely. Again - This series is like NO other! I was fairly surprised multiple times throughout the entire story. This was absolutely worth the read, and I will absolutely be looking at more of her material. She's GREAT!!

LMAOO! The ending will piss you off!

Book 1 and 2, were amazing. Book 3 was really great until the last eight minutes. I fully understand what all the reviews said about the ending. I actually died laughing at the end, which is a complete contrast to how i was crying when Elizabeth reunited with her dad in Washington. But I am glad I didn't waste a credit, let alone 3! However the series was pretty good.

No to the ending!

My goodness the story was so good! The ending had me spewing so many epitaphs, I couldn’t stop my cocked eyebrow and disgust at the ridiculous, “fairytale” ending. Jesus... please re-write with a better ending!!

Little disappointed at the moment...

Ok, let's get one thing straight here....I did not like the ending! Come on!!.Don't wanna give it away...
Otherwise I really enjoyed all three books. So many different twists, heartache and just rotten things happen to all in this book. Especially Elizabeth (Nina). But it all wrapped up nicely... except the ending.

Sad the story is over....

And wish it hadn't ended the way it did, but overall it was a great series of books. I'm so glad that Declan and Elizabeth were able to be together and find such true love through their trials and tribulations. The narration was wonderful.
