Intriguing Story Line

Story line kept you guessing and wanting more. Not sure if the “jabs” to “conservatives” and pushing an agenda was needed to keep the story going or served much point to the book. Overall, great listen

Amazing Story

Not sure what I expected, but this story well written and very riveting. 2 stories at once are told, her past and her present. It tells Where's she came from and how she got to where she is, but it all ties in with her present.

The narration was positively awesome. I was able to tell the characters apart easily. Great job!

May have triggers for some but the story is so good

This was a great story with a happy ending for most and a tragic ending for some. This story is about friendship, heart ache, trauma, love, and strong independent woman.

Suspense with a touch of Romance

Hurt for me is a very interesting book. Lots of twists and turns I did not see coming. I feel it's more of a suspense book with a touch of romance. CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! Some parts were hard for me because it involved children but unfortunately it's a reality. The book had a slow start but it built the suspense up. I would recommend this book if you can handle the trigger warnings.

I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Good story and great performance

So well written. This addressed many topics without having them thrown in your face, as many other novels do. Such important issues for our current times and makes you see how easily it’s all glossed over or not even noticed.
And really impressed with the narration - kept me hooked into the story the entire time.

A story with great potential

This story pulled me in quickly and would've held me straight till the end if it wasn't for the authors obvious bias against, cops, red states, conservatives, churches, "white old men", and every other controversial topic she could fit into one book! She filled it with every inclusive sensitive subject out there and the story got lost in her obvious distain and animosity for anyone who doesnt share in her beliefs. The problem with people who cry for inclusion, they only mean inclusion for themselves and others that think like them. But they don't have the same inclusion in their lives or hearts for anyone that might not agree. Very very sad, and bigoted all while trying to shed light on the very thing your bashing.

Anyways, its just sad... as I said, good story if you can skip through all the other BS...

Great book!

I love that this book wasn't all about sex. There was a real story told here, with facts, of course of how kink isn't all about pain or sex, but that there's various levels to it that at times, involves no pain or sex. Mistress V endured a lot in her life before taking back the reigns, and thanks to the kindness of three key people, she was able to.

Hurt for Me by Heather Levy

What a fanominal story, I loved the audible version very much. I can get a lot of work done listening to a great book narrated by a super narrator.
The events that played out with the characters were heart stopping at times. Echo/Ray was and is a very brave person doing what was necessary to save herself and her baby. The bad luck just kept coming in leaps and bounds she was able to get through, finally and meeting her wonderful friend who helped her so much until she couldn’t. All the parents were obviously shits.
It was wonderful to read about a good profession without sex that can be so good for everyone onv
