Too Focused on Fast Pacing

The blurb promises a fast paced thriller. It delivers om that promise and it I enjoyed this audiobook. The story would have been better with a bit more pack story and set up for the cool technology the hero of the story utilizes, The hero has expertise across a very wide variety of skills. I am not sure how the limited background on this character makes all the skills believable. The ease in which he learns of the bad guys and their locations in not well developed. He has the right technology tool for every scenario, how? In the end I found it more difficult to suspend disbelief and really get into the story. The Gray Man for example if you think about it in his books does some crazy stuff but the well developed background allows me to suspend my disbeleif and thoroughly enjoy those novels.
