Anyone who's ever wondered what this system is about will be pleasantly surprised with the thoroughness and vastness of information herein. Cave is meticulous and specific, rooting his theories in literary, spiritual, and ethical references. The audio challenges the idea of God, causing the audience to think about what a godless world might be like. Andrea Powell's narration is measured and clear. Her voice engages the listener without provoking him. This is an indispensable introduction to the subject.

A decent read
Great narrator for what can at times be very dry material. I'm not a student anymore at university but it felt like a book I'd have used to inform my work. Thorough and well thought out. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

Very through.
Lots of interesting examples. Great introduction especially to humanist ethics.
I was looking for answers having discarded faith and adopting a rationalist view point.
I learnt that there are no easy answers when it comes to moral questions.
