Story
It's every novelist's greatest fear: pouring their blood, sweat, and tears into writing hundreds of pages only to realize that their story has no sense of urgency, no internal logic, and so is a page-one rewrite. The prevailing wisdom in the writing community is that there are just two ways around this problem: pantsing (winging it) and plotting (focusing on the external plot).

Decent information, dry delivery
I don't want to be discouraging here, because the book wasn't bad--it really wasn't, but audiobooks pivit on the "voice", and though Sara has a nice tone, I wished there was more inflection and energy.
The lack of it made this a hard-to-finish experience.
BUT---and yes, this is more important--the book has wonderful information and insights I needed to know as an author. I was interested in understanding better what genre I was in, what i could Do with my books and ideas--and in THAT respect, Sara excelled!
