Amazing book

This is really helpful, because I think most people feel better about following through on something when they know about how long it will take. The book also goes into exploring other forms of content that you can make. If you have a digital book, like say, for Kindle, you can create a paper book. You can create an audio book as well. Overall, a great book to get you started!

Do Not Waste Your Money

It is a 20 minute conversation of bullet points that state the obvious. There is no suggestions that help.
The author quickly (skims) his idea of what you should of next steps without true suggestions.
I finished the book hoping I would get a sentence that would make it at least worth my time listening
to it.

Just What I Needed

I was chuckling to myself while reading the section where he talked about vowing to do a marathon writing session in a weekend. Failing miserably at that task this past weekend is precisely what brought me to this book. Thank you for writing a helpful, concise, and fun-to-read book that has helped me get down to business in a much more organized way. The narration was superb also. I would give it six stars if I could. Excellent!

Just long enough!

The book is written in the style I decided just last night I want to write in and I didn't know that buying the book. Great tips and great insight. There's some cussing but it's well-used and appropriate for the authors style. Loved it!

Good summary, but too little detail

I understand that this is a quick guide but it was too quick for my taste.

Dull

I got bored really fast. Really dull and simple. I wouldn’t recommend it. There are far better books on the subject.

THIS IS WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR

really useful
i like that the author did not spend time talking about themselves and their experiences
it's rather a quick list or reference for you to get started

Good book but whish they had some links

It was simple and easy to understand and helped remove the walls I was building in my head. I just wish it had some names of websites and resources the author would reccomend in the publishing and promotion chapters. Very helpfull anyway 😊

So simple but perfect.

Exactly what I needed. He just nicely laid out the steps to get it done. Glad he didn’t add another 5 chapters just to bulk it up.

His structure makes it simple.

With all things that are new we stop at the first uncertainty. Michael Rogan leaves out the fluff and gives you a game plan to dominate your laptop from outline to a complete edited book. This is like having apple maps in the 90s. You’re going to get lost a lot less than Dave with his damn crumpled up coffee stained mapquest pages.

Very throughout and Helpful

This will not be the only book I will refer to when writing my own, but for sure it is already a great reference. He is throughout and to the point at the same time, which is what I loved the most. Thank you for your time and for sharing part of your experiences. Thumbs Up!
