Learning how to write a book is easy. Learning how to write a book that doesn't suck and can actually make you money - and set you up for a full-time writing career is harder.
But it's nowhere near impossible. And it's far more doable than you can imagine. The trouble is, most books offering tips on how to write a book fail to address two key considersations: 1) Most self-published nonfiction books suck. 2) It's almost impossible to make a living from one self-published nonfiction book.

Amazing book
This is really helpful, because I think most people feel better about following through on something when they know about how long it will take. The book also goes into exploring other forms of content that you can make. If you have a digital book, like say, for Kindle, you can create a paper book. You can create an audio book as well. Overall, a great book to get you started!

Do Not Waste Your Money
It is a 20 minute conversation of bullet points that state the obvious. There is no suggestions that help.
The author quickly (skims) his idea of what you should of next steps without true suggestions.
I finished the book hoping I would get a sentence that would make it at least worth my time listening

I was chuckling to myself while reading the section where he talked about vowing to do a marathon writing session in a weekend. Failing miserably at that task this past weekend is precisely what brought me to this book. Thank you for writing a helpful, concise, and fun-to-read book that has helped me get down to business in a much more organized way. The narration was superb also. His structure makes it simple.
With all things that are new we stop at the first uncertainty. Michael Rogan leaves out the fluff and gives you a game plan to dominate your laptop from outline to a complete edited book. This is like having apple maps in the 90s. You’re going to get lost a lot less than Dave with his damn crumpled up coffee stained mapquest pages.
