No money? No problem. You can start packing your bags for that trip you've been dreaming a lifetime about.

For more than half a decade, Matt Kepnes (aka Nomadic Matt) has been showing fans of his enormously popular travel blog that traveling isn't expensive and that it's affordable to all. He proves that as long as you think out of the box and travel like locals, your trip doesn't have to break your bank, nor do you need to give up luxury.

Offering a blend of advice ranging from travel hacking to smart banking, you'll learn how to avoid paying bank fees anywhere in the world, earn thousands of free frequent flyer points, find discount travel cards that can save on hostels, tours, and transportation, and get cheap (or free) plane tickets.

Whether it's a two-week, two-month, or two-year trip, Nomadic Matt shows you how to stretch your money further so you can travel cheaper, smarter, and longer.

Useful but not ideal in audio form!

My only wish is that I had a reference guide to read along with the audio version. There's so much useful information and websites, it's unfortunate to be listening rather than having them in writing in front of me. I think in hindsight, I'd rather read this book in paperback form. If Matt Kepnes happens to read this, it'd be awesome if you put together a quick-glance pdf guide for people who bought the book on audible! :)

Loads of great content!

While there is a lot of content the release date led me to think this was the newest version but it’s not.
Also the spelling out of tons of websites while useful if your listening with a pen in hand would be better in electronic form of some sort

What a Wonderful Book!

Matt, thank you so much for taking the time to collect and share your wisdom. To all people who want to know more about the reality of traveling, this is a must-read. I had many ideas in my mind about travel, most of them inhibitive, and this book helped me get past them. I was unsure about the whole thing, but now I'm going to travel the world. Thanks again!

Excellent read and reference guide!

Purchased in print after listening to the audio book. This is an amazing shoestring resource guide and includes some country-specific cost savings tips. Highly recommend!

he makes no claims about how to travel the world in luxury instead its a practical barebones approach that makes real sense. its not incredibly easy, but not impossible.

Not so much for family but still have a lot of good info .

Wonderful Tips!

Well written and read. Except for when he was reading the URL’s I felt as though I was in the audience of a speech by the author. Highly recommend even if you do not need the budget.
