Another Excellent Audiobook.

This book is fun and full of adventure. I just love this series. I started out listening to this series with my 11 year old son. Since I listen to books so much faster than him I went ahead of him and started reading the rest of these by myself. Since I enjoyed these stories I have no problem listening to them again with him. This book had a new character in that reminded me of a Professor Gilderoy Lockhart from Harry Potter, which made me laugh. As usual there is doom coming for the folks on the Island of Burk and we get to go on the adventure with Hiccup and his friends to save everyone. The narrator is excellent and I would gladly listen to anything he narrated.

This book is awesome!!

The story is brilliant!! And Cressida cowel couldn't have picked a better person to narrate this book than david tennant. He narrates this book so well that sometimes I forget that it's only one person that reads the story.

Skips.

After chapter 10, when David says the title of the chapter, it skips the title or the first few words or full first sentence of the chapter. (It's easy to follow but it was a regular issue with this book.)

Fun.

A light entertaining romp. Well performed by David Tennant. Meant for kids, but might be scary, at times, for very young listeners.

Laogh out loud fun!

What I love: David Tennat has always been a favorite actor of mine. Now he is a favorite narrator! He is brilliant at making this story come alive and fun.
What I don't care for: I would give the whole series an unresounding 5 stars. but I don't like the voice used for toothlwas and the music between chapters can be irritating (although with each subsequent book it seems to improve.

My favorite "Dragon" so far

This is my favorite story of the dragon books so far (I haven't listen to/read the final one). I laughed as usual but also enjoyed the deeper meaning in this one. An excellent read by David as always!
