Do you want to walk into a room and instantly have a good idea of what the people around you are really thinking?
Imagine meeting someone for the first time and within minutes―without a word being said―having the ability to tell what that person is thinking. Whether people are aware of it or not, their body movements clearly express their attitudes and motives, communicating key information that is invaluable in a range of situations. How can you “hear between the lines” to detect a lie?
This phenomenal guide shows you how to read a person like a book, by decoding the hidden messages in appearance, tone of voice, facial expression, and personal habits. You will understand how unconscious decisions of people turn into conscious predictions and conclusions by people who know exactly what to look for. It’s easier than you think, and it is definitely fascinating.
Here are some of the things you will also discover:
- The different communication styles and what should you be using in different settings
- Simple nonverbals that instantly establish trust
- Exploring YOUR personality and how YOU, uniquely, can make connections with people and forge relationships without veering away from who you really are.
- Verbal communication and how to dig deeper or read between the lines.
- The different personality types and how they affect behavior - Not everyone has the same mannerisms, gestures, and characteristics when outside.
- The most powerful behaviors that reveal our confidence and true sentiments
- The basic personality characterizations that you need to know about
In How to Read People Like a Book we will go deep into exploring body language not just to understand people – but to also connect with them. Do you ever wonder what’s really going on inside someone else's head? It's a common curiosity. If you're all about getting into the nitty-gritty of why people think and act the way they do in different situations, you might want to narrow your focus a bit. And that's where dark psychology comes in. It's like the deep dive into the more shadowy corners of human behavior. Intriguing, right? My name is Shannon West. I like to think of yourself as being your friendly neighborhood psychologist (well, maybe not your actual neighborhood, but you get the idea). Ever since I can remember, I've ...

Imagine how different your life would be if you could really know what other people were thinking in any situation. Unless you hone into the non-verbal gestures people are giving off, you will never quite know exactly what they are thinking - whether it's reading your colleagues in the office, your spouse or kids at the dinner table, or even a complete stranger on the street. All too often, people fall short of really picking up the true intentions of others as they depend solely on the words that are being spoken.

Some are notorious serial killers, determined to torture the mind and body of the innocent. But others--most others--are not nearly so infamous. Many ...

Good Information, Virtual Narration Kills the Story
There is good information in this book and it is very well formatted. However, the virtual voices for full book narration should not be used. It must just save the author a good amount of money because they are terrible. They have come a long way but nowhere near the dramatic effects that a human can correlate to the audience. It makes it very robotic and insincere.
