I cry out loud cause I have done it!

I have started listening about the first week of this month and I have heard every morning when I had a single mind about cleaning. I listened and listened and listened. I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned. and Today I have done CLEANING ONLY for today. I cleaned my car inside and outside, I sorted out all month's diverse garbages, I let my kids decorate the christmas tree, and I finished this book as she kept telling me. I have done it. I done dishes and laundries and things THAT I NEVER WOULD HAVE IMAGINED THAT I COULD DO. Thank you Dana. Thank you for writting this book. You know me better than I know myself.

This book was SO relatable and offered the solution to my slob abode issues that I hadn’t realized were really rooted in the way my brain works. A Must Read for anyone struggling to get their home under control

Genius solutions for people who can't clean

I really loved this book and totally related to the author. I read THE MAGIG OF TIDYING and, although I gleaned some wisdom on how to organize drawers, it just wasn't practical advice for me, an American mother of 4 small children. This book has practical solutions that aren't overwhelming and helps you get started on creating new habits to develop home management skills. I've always been a messy person and, although a minimalist at heart, I've never had it in me to create good housekeeping habits. This book gives me a lot of hope for myself. Her ideas on decluttering and laundry are genius. I just wish she provided more step by step instructions on how to manage everything in a home like vacuuming and deeper cleaning. She gives solutions, but it isn't very specific. This book is also good to read if you yourself are organized but live with messy people. I wish my mom had known some of these strategies to help me when I was younger.

Who knew you could LOVE a book on de-cluttering?

Who knew you could LOVE a book on de-cluttering?
I really, really enjoyed this book and have listened to it (and Dana Whites 2nd book) no less than a dozen times!
Seriously!
It delivers common sense suggestions but also ideas I've never thought of (and I've thought a lot about this subject) Things that make sense to me and that I can easily remember.
The authors voice is upbeat and shes got a great sense of humor! If you're overwhelmed with your house, I highly recommend this book!

Dana speaks to my heart and I feel as though we have known each other for years!

I have found encouragement in Dana's podcasts for a couple of years now and was so excited to hear about her new book! There is always so much to do in my slob life that sitting down to read a book just isn't going to happen so needless to say the audible version of Dana's book was just what I needed. I have listened to it 3 times now and it is always so motivational. The simplicity and honesty of Dana's way of doing things breaks through the paralysis we sometimes find ourselves in.
There is something about cleaning and decluttering that is lonely to me so that friendly voice keeping me company and gently urging me on to do my dishes , sweep my floors, etc. is just what I need!!
I highly recommend this book!!!

I am not the only slob brain, and now I know what to do about it!!!

I read all the different organization and tidying books with homes and dreams, only to always quickly unravel back into the slob I really am. This is the first book I have read that was written by someone that sees this stuff the way I do, I’m finally not alone anymore!! And more importantly, she has figured out how to retrain my slob brain (one that all of these other organizer book writers don’t have and don’t understand). I can get that some people won’t like this book, because they won’t understand the slob brain. But if you are like me and getting and staying organized seems impossible, this book just very well may change your life. It’s an easy read with great points and even better practical steps towards real change.

Broken Down to MY Level

While my level (ability to maintain my house) may be pathetic to some, this book made me feel less dumb. I have made serious progress in my home and have major hope for the future!
Note: I listen to this book when I feel like I need renewed motivation so I just finished listening for the 3rd time. Haha. (Thank You Dana White!)
