A+ from a conservative Mormon Mom.

If you don’t let the language get in your way, this book can help ANYONE make at least one positive mental shift that will make it worth the read... if not several.

The anecdotes and straight talk make it very easy to relate to, understand, and see yourself in.

And THAT is what makes it USEFUL.

If you can’t see yourself in the story, you can’t write yourself into the story.

And that is what we are all trying to do:

Write ourselves into the most epic and awesome story possible.

Even even shared it with my 12 year old daughter who shared it with his son.

Because it’s relatable and valuable.

Same old stuff

Short and swearing don’t waste your money
There is nothing new in this book. I am glad it was short so I did not waste a lot off my time

Same story but on informal way

It is the same content that many other books, but in some funny informal way. If you have read others similar books before, do not wait for something new. However, it is a less serious way to listen to it, so no bad option to just remember it.

Exactly what I expected and more

I loved the do and be at the end of each chapter to summarize. I loved the blunt approach, the ease of understanding and the reality of it. Perfect!

Great audio author

This was my very first audible book and it was awesome! Definitely glad I chose to listen rather than read as Dan was so much fun to listen to! Now to put it all into action!

The only review you need to read

By the time I listened to the fifth chapter, I realized a friend could use this book. Little did I know, he’s always had difficulty connecting with his son as he past puberty. He listened to THIS book and wished he could connect with his son the same way Dan connected with him. He bought the book again and gave it to his son. The result?

“Hey Chris, Thank you! I’m definitely not a very good coach, I do not have the patience and secondly the calling for it. I’m not sure if I can be a proficient father... but I gave Dan’s book to my son today and he just kept going on it without stopping! He never did that with anything I recommended him so far! For that Thank you”

Amazing Insprational story w humor

Such a touching story of success & inspiration. Straight from the heart & hands on experience. An uplifting story of how to get out of your own way to succeed, how to treat others, how to share with those you love & most of all how to reward yourself for your achievements.

So blessed I had the opportunity to get to know better the man behind the computer.

Brilliant life advice mixed with dark humour

I've been a fan of Dan Meredith's work for the past couple of years, even since I started lurking in his Facebook Group of entrepreneurial misfits called Coffee with Dan. The topics ranged from email etiquette to productivity hacking to dealing with deep personal crisis. Dan's book pulls from the best of that group, with a focus on getting the best out of each person. Between each personal story, anecdote or rant, Dan throws in some brilliant advice about how to life one's life 100 percent. It's not for the faint of heart, or for those who prefer to keep their heads buried in the sand. Follow the advice. Go through the exercises. Improve your life.
The audiobook adds a very personal touch, and makes the content flow better. It's like sitting with a maniac life coach for three and a half hours. Bonus points if you listen to this at triple speed, because then Dan's proper British accent turns into the Chipmunks on crack. Don't say I didn't warn you.

The Best Kickstart An Entrepreneur Could Want

This book is easy listening yet packs an almighty punch . It does in an audio book what Mohammed Ali did in the ring it floats like a butterfly and stings like bee.
Imagine your best mate was super successful and took you to the pub and gave you a verbal ear bashing , motivational speech and plan or how to get out your own way and be the brilliant person he/ she knows you could be. (Even if you have lost sight of that person in you )
This is how the book is written and read .
It will help you get out your own way and be more awesome .

Not for me.

I found it tough to ‘like’ this guy. His messaging is on point with many similar motivational/action type business books.

The things that motivate him and the things he has been successful with are brilliant.

It’s just the examples given of things he has done outside of the business world come across as a typical middle class rugby lad trying to impress people with wacky behaviours and an inflated selection of himself. Like I said, not genuine and not for me.

A BIG reality slap in the face!!

Everyone needs to read this!! Honest real advice that doesn’t pretend being an entrepreneur should be a walk in the park and you should love every second. Dan’s style is fantastic and he doesn’t pull any punches! This book is full of advice that I’m going to put into action NOW!

waste of time

the writer collected a number of ideas from books that anyone who reads personal development must have read, sprinkled some f-words here and there, and then called it a book.

Over hyped and disappointing

What would have made How to Be F*cking Awesome better?

More depth and more thought put in would have been good. I read somewhere that it was written in a quick time and it shows. It listens more like a rant and the swearing gets tiring. He brags quite a lot and most of it is about what he's done, not what you can do. In the end the book ended up being more fluff than good stuff. I can see it being good as a motivation tool but really most of the content is platitudes that you hear all the time. There was nothing new here.

Has How to Be F*cking Awesome put you off other books in this genre?

No, but I returned it for my credit to buy another book. There are so many better books in the genre, buy one of those instead, unless you are completely new to the genre. Something like Gary V or Brian Tracy would be better. Other reviews on here must have been been listening to a different book.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The voice was good and more authentic that the author voiced it.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from How to Be F*cking Awesome?

I would have cut the swearing and the excess bragging.

The Blueprint on How to be Awesome

This book is great! I love Dan's writing style, engaging, straight to the point but most importantly actionable.

I have used ideas from this book coupled with Dan's planner to increase my productivity and take everything to the next level.

Buy the book, go balls deep and get stuff done!!

The kick up the behind you didn't think you needed

This is hands down one of the most motivational books I've ingested. From the first word to the last, you get concrete direction on how to make the most of your business. No fancy high concepts here, just action.

Title says it all!

Dan tells you in a no BS way of what you need to do to just get things done. Motivating, inspiring and good humour thrown in as well. You will not be disappointed.
