A magical book on affirmations and the law of attraction
"Get a picture of yourself as you want to be and sustain that image with joy, faith and expectancy. You will then succeed in experiencing its manifestation"
this is a bit of a paraphrase from Joseph Murphy's how to attract money but it strikes at the sole of the book which is that you can use the law of attraction and affirmations to become wealthy. the book coalesces on the idea, metaphorically taken from the new testament, that you can turn water into wine. what this means metaphysically and metaphorically, is that you can take anything, here in the examples water in the bible, and use spiritual alchemy to transform it into what you desire. this outcome can be money or an expression or a circumstance.
the book really highlights the idea of marrying wealth and using prayer to encant this marriage to wealth and success. once you've done this holding the image of that success for several moments a day as well as the persevering towards that goal will make its outcome and undeniable truth. there's so much to love about this book and Joseph Murphy's contribution to spirituality and personal development and business development. this is right up there with Wallace wattles the science of getting rich and approaching books like think and grow Rich. I had an amazing time reading the book.
