To analyze people Make a poppet
When it comes to smiling, the mouth can lie but the eyes can’t. Genuine smiles reach the eyes, crinkling the skin to create crow’s feet around them. People often smile to hide what they’re really thinking and feeling, so the next time you want to know if someone’s smile is genuine, look for crinkles at the corners of their eyes. If they aren’t there, that smile is hiding something.

Meet people’s needs to read body language
Once you recognize the person’s personality type, you may have a better idea of what to say, when to say it, and how to say it. You may better understand how to engage the person and respond to her in ways that meet her emotional needs and your goals. Playful, extroverted, open people need fun and stimulation. listen to a decent podcast and save the money
this was so so basic. I cant believe all the 5 star reviews. I bought the book purely based on those. Honestly I learnt more from podcasts with writers and professors on as guests..trying to avoid naming the podcasts. And I lost count of the amount of times I wanted to send this book back. I'd take my headphones off in frustration and say...its going back...then try again because it was cheap. I know all the dark psychology and people manipulation books are a bit like snake oil but I thought all those reviews cant be wrong........I'll go back to the great courses..also available on audible.
