Experience with musical instruments.

Despite the absurd amount of typos in this book (which are fairly easy to figure out- the tablature often doesn't match the picture of the finger placement among other typos), this has been a good way for my partner to learn how to play the ukulele having no prior experience with musical instruments.

Which I will hopefully become.

This looks like it will be a great way to learn the Ukulele I got for Christmas. It is a bit thin, but they price was low, and it was the #1 Ukulele Guide when I was shopping and had good reviews. I'll be sure to update once I'm a Ukulele master. Which I will hopefully become.

Good book to get your fingers moving.

This is a good book for a true beginner. Not too technical, not really complete; but a good book to get your fingers moving.

Who wants to learn to play.

I love this product, it has made learning ukulele easier for me. Once you get further into it, such a strumming, it can become difficult for a beginner. But overall it is easy-to-learn from, simple and good for beginners who have never picked up a ukulele in their life. Would recommend this to anybody who wants to learn to play.

Excellent introduction to ukulele.

Excellent introduction to ukulele, great resource for beginning ukulele players. I was skeptical, so borrowed it from my library first. Found myself borrowing it again, knew I had to have it as one of my resources.

I've got this book.

I've got this book (the electronic version on the iPad), and it's excellent. It has improved my skills more over the past week than I think I had improved in months, and I'm learning some good music theory at the same time. The videos can get a little annoying with the same intro playing every time, but it's a minor quibble.

The book starts of Introducing the instruments.

The book starts of Introducing the instruments, how to hold the ukulele and avoid bad habits. It starts with very basic chords, and a song which demonstrate these chords. Its an amazing starting point for anyone who wants to start or who has just started playing the ukulele.

This book is one of the best I've had lately.

This book is one of the best I've had lately. While they're always entertaining they're not always as informative as I'd like. Not so with this book, it is excellent.
