How Then Shall We Worship? is a landmark look at God’s design for authentic worship. Today’s church cannot seem to agree on what corporate worship should look like. A biblical look at Protestant Worship

R C Sproul at his finest. Honestly looking at various positions and humbly advocating for what he believes Scripture teaches. Helps to clarify most of the modern confusion surrounding worship.

Excellent content, but terribly boring narrator!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes and no. I would recommend the printed version before the audio version.

What did you like best about this story?

It raises and addresses a very crucial question that I think is highly neglected or misrepresented in modern day Christianity. I really appreciate the different angles Dr. Sproul tackled the topic from as well as his historical references.

How could the performance have been better?

Having it read by a narrator who doesn't sound like it is agonizing him to read this material. I had a hard time staying awake while listening to it because his voice is very boring to listen to.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, not if you want to spend some time digesting the content of it. But being only a little over 4 hours long, it is possible.

Any additional comments?

It's a shame Dr. R.C. Sproul didn't read this himself. They did this book an injustice by choosing the narrator that they did.

R. C. Sproul hits another one out of the park!

As always this is well written and understandable. Dr. Sproul lays out how we should worship and why. How worship has changed the good, the bad and the ugly.
Love it or hate it but Dr. Sproul I believe puts out, to the best of his God given abilities, the biblical hard truth.
Thank you Dr Sproul RIP

Covenant Theology Apologetic

This book is only secondarily about worship. It is much more an apologetic for covenant theology. Sproul concludes that unless you embrace Renaissance traditions you are experiencing inferior worship. Curiously, the book claims to provide biblical principles. I found those to be woefully lacking in favor of Reformation traditions.
