Awe

Sweet little romance, was a little slow at times, but over all a sweet story, recommend it

Slow start but once in a. chapter or two it picked up. Great read overall.

wonderful feel good romance.

I thorughly enjoyed listening to this audio book. The narration enhanced an already great story. I smiled, I laughed. I cried. I identified with Carmen, a police officer's widow as she learns to move on. Her journey is worth reading about.

Loved It!!

Carmen is just starting her new job and babysitting the new doctor for is not what she wants to be doing but this event is life changing for the better. Jason is in a bit of a mess but Carmen is just to woman to handle it. I love these two together!

Male leads voice was a mismatch

The story was pretty good. I didn’t feel it was up to the usual standards for Marie Force books. It was still very enjoyable. I thought the female narrator was excellent but did not believe the male narrators voice was a good representation of male lead character.

one or two smiles. sweet romance. everything here went very very slow. narration fairly evenly split. ms james is one of the better female narrators. once was enough

Loved the diversity!

I loved it! The description of Miami makes me want to take a trip there. I really appreciated how a certain incident happened and once it was done it was DONE. There was no going back and jeopardizing the new start.

How Much I Feel

I liked Dr Jason Northrup he cracked me up on many occasions. The chemistry and friendship he and Carmen forge is pretty great. I love that she was so open and put herself and her intentions out there.

Their romance did feel a little rushed and I think maybe an extra chapter or two could have helped because it was more than just them we get to know secondary characters too. Those are the books I remember most when you have our main couple but everyone else who makes up the whole. And I think that might be why it felt a little rushed.

I like that it wasn’t a quick fix and that time and patience had to play a role in the HEA.
Great narration as well Teddy is a favorite of mine and Lola is new to me and I really enjoyed her as well.

Sweet love story

I enjoyed this book much like I do all the books I've listened to from Marie Force. I didn't care for the male narrator as he didn't sound like I envisioned the male character. Love the female narrator. In my opinion a narrator can make or break a story. Loved the info about Miami cuban/italian culture. Not familiar with that. Loved the family and extended family. I love a happily ever after story and this suits.

Marie knows how to write warm, hearted story that make you smile and this one is no different
