Story
It’s been a year since the events in Niagara Falls. Things have generally gotten better in the wasteland and civilization is starting to take hold along the rivers. No one knows where the Librarian is, or if he’s alive, but there’s a man and a mastiff running passengers from Hannibal to Cairo that might have an idea as to what really happened. Life is starting to return to normal along the river if you don’t count the pirates and the sea monsters. But all of that is about to change and the end of the world may never be the same again.

The post-apocalyptic world isn't that bad. Sure, there are mutants. But, for the people of New Hope, daily life isn't so much a struggle of finding food or medicine as it is trying to find a new shortstop for their kickball team. This makes it difficult for a post-apocalyptic warrior to find work. Thankfully, an army full of killers is making its way to the peaceful town and plans to raze it to the ground. Only a fully trained post-apocalyptic nomadic warrior can stop them.

Entertaining and Action Packed!
This was an entertaining and action packed story with one of the best narrations I’ve ever heard! Eric Bryan Moore did an amazing job with the narration of this book. The accents he does are outstanding and the inflections and emotions he puts into it made the book so entertaining. The story was great in itself. It was action packed and the humor throughout made it that much better. When I chose this book I was certainly curious as to how it was going to go and how I would like it. I needn’t have worried, it was amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to another by this author staring Damian Stockwell and narrated by Eric Bryan Moore of course!

Action Packed Fun
Pink Panther meet Damian Stockwell. I really had no idea what to expect from this book. It's listed as a satire, but I wasn't sure of what it was a satire of. This was action packed, funny entertainment. Damian and his side kick Bertrand take you on a fast paced adventure to save a friend in peril. The laughs start almost immediately. Damian is so full of himself and so self absorbed it lends itself to endless humor with his interactions with those around them. This was my first introduction to Benjamin Wallace and what a fun introduction it was. The narration is just outstanding. I'm not new to Eric Bryan Moore's narrations. I'll listen to pretty much anything he narrates. He never disappoints. However, this one is up there with my favorites. The off, dry humor was delivered perfectly. The accents, the characterizations, everything done so well. I don't need any "thinky time" to know I sure hope there's more!

Entertaining Story and Spectacular Narration!
This was my first Benjamin Wallace's book and it's the first book in The Bulletproof Adventures of Damian Stockwell. This story is well written, action packed, intriguing and so hilarious! All the battle scenes are complex, breathtaking and entertaining. The scenery is well described, it's like we were there. Damian Stockwell and his loyal valet Bertrand (Frenchman) are totally insane together. Damian is so full of himself, it's laughable. Bertrand is a perfect secondary character and he's my favorite character! He follows Damian in his adventures with so much stoicism, courage and devotion, but maybe a little less somewhere by the end! The scene when they laughed at Bertrand's accent gives me contrary emotions because of the nastiness. However, for the most part of this story, I laughed a lot and really enjoyed my listening. Eric Bryan Moore did a stunning performance with all characters and accents. He's one of my favorite narrators. His spectacular narration really brings this story to life. Bravo! I can't wait to listen to the next book in the Series, Terror of Tesla, hopefully narrated by Eric Bryan Moore. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review. I have read and listened this story.

Not a Favorite, but I Still Enjoyed It To A Degree
These books might not necessarily been up my alley. I feel like the time period might be interesting enough, but one of the big things that bugged me, was the fact that Damian treated Bertrand like a servant, even though he might of held that title, it still felt a little jarring. I also wasn't a huge fan of the narrator either, but that is just my own personal preference.

What a Man
Loved the adventure, this man is action packed from the beginning. I like the fact that he cared about the bad guy being the victim under the mask. It wasn't their fault so he didn't want to hurt them. then the fights and flying and rescuing and everything.

Horror in Honduras
This story is action packed with great sense of humor. The characters are well developed and just a riot! I think Damian side kick/butler "the frenchman" steals the show! I love the time period and all the cool inspector gadget/007 toys. Damian can't seem to stay out of trouble he seems to go from one bad incident to another which will keep you on your toes and not wanting to put the book down. Fun listen and Eric Bryan Moore does an amazing job with his narration and the different characters.

Horror in Honduras should be your next listen.
Benjamin Wallace writes a brilliant story. I haven’t listened to a book by him, this was my first. This story is full of action and at times I found myself laughing out loud. It reminded me a little of Sherlock Holmes. I will def listen to another book by Benjamin Wallace. The narrator is FANTASTIC. I don’t think I’ve heard one person have so many different voices. Hats off to you Eric Bryan Moore for bringing these characters to life through my headphones.
