it ranks at the top , fantastic I have listened to all of this series and they are all so good

Who was your favorite character and why?

Leigh she is so innocent and just walks into trouble at every turn. She is funny and sexy and compassionate

What about Hollie Jackson’s performance did you like?

Holly Jackson is in my opinion is one of the best narrators I have heard and I have heard a lot. She ha a knack for really drawing you in,

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Would you consider the audio edition of Hopeful Leigh to be better than the print version?

While I've always loved to read, the audio version gives the print version a run for it's money. Hollie's narration brings the book to life.

What did you like best about this story?

Hopeful Leigh is entertaining from beginning to end. I love how when anyone is talking about the witch Elspeth, other people think it sounds like a sneeze. But really, how can anyone not love the whacky situations Leigh continually finds herself in.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was when they all head off to rescue Gertie.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

This is certainly short enough you could listen in one sitting. I only seem to be able to listen to any audio book for an hour or two at a time.

Any additional comments?

This is just pure fun from start to finish. Be careful where you listen to it, laughing out loud is a real possibility.

Wonderful Series

I absolutely love this series. Leigh and her friends are never boring. There is always a new adventure around every corner. Melanie James has a wonderful sense of humor and makes me laugh throughout the story. What more could you ask for comedy, action, adventure, and romance!

Epic!

hilarious, yet dramatic, this book truly outlines the scope of Leigh's powers. between crazed bikers and zombie Vampires, Leigh and friends have their work cut out for them from page one. prepare to bite your nails AND laugh your butt off with this one! Jackson adds depth and feeling, as usual!

Imaginative, hysterically funny and a bit naughty.

This series just keeps getting better. This one kept me in stitches. If you want laugh out loud funny and a plot that keeps you highly entertained and guessing, get this one now! The narration is top notch and the writing beyond imaginative. The length is perfect for whiling away a snowy evening. There is a raging blizzard outside, but thanks to this wonderful book, I could care less! Melanie, thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Clever and Witty, Laugh Out Loud Comedy Continues!

Where does Hopeful Leigh rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Literal Leigh Series are my all time favorites. Amazingly, this series keeps up the pace of hilarious comedy and lovable characters with down to earth personalities we can all relate to. I've listened to each audio book in the series 3 times already and I can't wait for the next book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hopeful Leigh?

Either the "dog toy" incident, or the gang's arrival at the hexed Scottish castle. Or the "calves" so many to choose from. Like all the Leigh Series books, they are loaded with gags. For example, the author is very good at writing in the seemingly unintentional double entendre that later is the cause of catastrophe. It's very witty, very clever.

Have you listened to any of Hollie Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Oh yeah! I loved her voice on the Dakota Cassidy books and Hollie Jackson is the perfect narrator for this series. She nails the accents and adds the perfect inflections for the comedy. I can't compare my favorites-apples to oranges, I just love these romantic comedies with a paranormal twist.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Bangin' The Billion-were!

There was sooooo many!! But you just can't help but crack up laughing when you can even hear it in Hollies voice that she's trying not to but can't help herself. <3

Brad began to sing. Of all things, he sang. And he sang familiar and completely innocent advertising jingle-- in a very suggestive tone, complete with stripper dance moves. He unbuttoned his jeans and grabbed the tab of his zipper. "My bologna has a first name, it's O S C A R. My bologna has a second name, it's M A Y E R--"
