Serenity Gail's mother has passed away and her mother's gentleman friend is insisting Serenity marry him, however, she is appalled at the idea, so contacts her old Nanny in hopes that they can find a way to escape the man and be together.

While discussing the situation in a tea shop, they are overheard by a young wealthy lawyer who discovers he wants to help these women.

During the autumn through to Thanksgiving, God opens doors for them all to open a boarding house, where they are able to help the less fortunate and where Daniel learns to love God and Serenity.
