Hope For Mr. Darcy

Still shaken from his horrible proposal, Elizabeth Bennet falls ill at the Rosings Parsonage upon reading Fitzwilliam Darcy’s letter. Suddenly, Elizabeth is left alone to wonder what exactly occurred between the two of them in her dreamlike state. And for the first time since meeting the man from Pemberley, she finds herself hoping for Mr. Darcy to return and rekindle what once was. Hope for Mr. Darcy is the first volume of the Hope Series Trilogy, a Regency variation series based on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. This trilogy promises hope will always light our way through the darkness of unrequited love, but eventually bringing tremendously gratifying outcomes for our three favorite characters: Mr. Darcy, Colonel Fitzwilliam, and Georgiana Darcy.

Did not like the virtual reader

The story was ok, the virtual voice reader was terrible. I’ll be careful not to get a title with a virtual reader again. Had to tell who’s speaking. No emotion

The sun is the Son

I love a completely different story from the original but the characters are still recognizable. This one has some shocking behavior from one in particular but also revealing some failure to show appropriate feeling for Charlotte by her parents. I really liked this story. The eulogy at a funeral was quite profound. I will listen to it again. The VV is not bad although I prefer a good voice actor but at least this VV is soft and sweet but the mispronounced words and at times inappropriate tone detracts from the flow of the story. The story is well written and I can recommend it without reservation.

New romance twist for P & P

I loved this variation of Pride & Prejudice. Less of the bad guys, and more of just Darcy and Elizabeth. Hope to read more from this author.

Story line wasn’t resolved.

One of the major story lines was never resolved! Involving 2 characters’ futures and also their financial security. Disappointed.

Bland

This was a very boring book. I did not think the characters were interesting at all and the story was most improbable.
