Publisher's Summary

Misty Carlisle works as a bank teller in Boston's financial district. She's had more rotten luck in her life than most, except when her childhood crush shows up to cash his paycheck. Then her heart races and her mouth goes dry.

Gabe Fierro is a firefighter - and a phoenix. Like his brothers, his biggest challenge is finding a woman open-minded enough to accept a shapeshifter into her life. When his boyhood friend asks him to watch over his little sister Misty, he reluctantly agrees.

But when the bank where she works gets held up, Gabe does everything he can to protect her. The two of them end up locked in the bank's vault...where things get steamier than either of them ever imagined.

Hooked on a Phoenix

Loved the facts that it sounds as there are more then one person talking.. Liked the story and will be following other books by Aslhlyn Chase. Enjoyed the narration by Justine O. Keef and will be looking for others by them.

Really?!

I love paranormal, and I love romance but this is really boring and uninspired. I absolutely love Justine O. Keef but not even her brilliance could make this bearable.

Not the best

I like story lines with strong characters. The female lead seemed to be a docile woman, happily groomed to be an at home mom/wife, which is okay but her role was portrayed as if she was too weak to be anything other than a woman dependent on her husband & mother-in-law.
Next, it was supposed to be a paranormal yet not much of the plot involved paranormal conflict.
