This book helped me overcome a lot of problems. I've struggled with MS for years and this book gave hope and healing. I've been recommending it to everyone I know!

Essential to Know the Spirit of God

I've walked with God for over two decades, but my knowledge and understanding of His Spirit is limited to Him teaching me His Word. All this time, I still did not understand the visibly supernatural manifestations of His Spirit. I've attended services at charismatic congregations and have seen abuses and practices that go against the Scriptures. Nevertheless, I know what the Scriptures say about the manifestations of the Spirit of God and that they are real, even today.

Saying that...this book is a powerful, sincere, and real testimony of the workings of the Spirit of God. The author was not raised or indoctrinated in a charismatic congregation, so I was more open to her testimony. The author gives a comprehensive testimony, including her life before committing to the Lord, her baptism and speaking in tongues experience, and her growing relationship with God thereafter. I especially appreciated her exhortation on children, in what way we are to be like children, and why the Master said the Kingdom of God is for children. She frequently quoted Scripture for reference and support, which I appreciated.

The author provides foundational principles in an area that I am lacking. These principles are so essential that I got a hardcopy of this book and will be rereading it with notes and highlights so that my children can also benefit from the author's experiences, teaching, and use of the Scriptures. I got this book as a legacy for my children, so that's saying a lot.

One of my favorite quotes because I've told others the same thing throughout the years:

"We can know it's God putting thoughts in our mind when they're congruent with His nature, when they line up with Scripture, and by what the thoughts produce in our lives."

Wow! What a soul touching story of Mimi’s life. So eloquently told. Leaving me feeling blessed and inspired.
