Publisher's summary

Hollywood is indelibly printed in our minds as the ‘go-to’ place for entertainment and has been for decades.

When there really did seem to be more stars in Hollywood than in heaven, Hollywood Stage had them performing films as radio plays - on the sponsor's dime, of course.

Classic films now become audiobooks, with many featuring the original stars from way back when. Here's The African Queen starring Humphrey Bogart and Greer Garson.

Worth a Listen

This is a very short version of the movie but what makes it great are the readers! Humphrey Bogart and here are my two favorite actor and actresses!

This book has a nostalgic historical feeling with all of the commercials from the era in between the segments. Its like reading an old newspaper from the 1950s. If you’re a fan of either Bogard or Garrison I would highly recommend listening to this book.
