Bridesmaid at the door of success
Wow, what an interesting life. Peter Marin tells his life story about the people he knew, worked with, and played with in great, colorful detail. There are so many ups and downs, so many near misses to grab the brass ring, it’s really riveting. Peter Marin uses the term, “a bridesmaid at the door of success.” The question is, does it ever open for him?
Peter Marin’s voice is rich and warm. Sometimes an author’s voice isn’t so pleasant to listen to in narration of their own book. But it’s easy to hear how this narrator is also a singer. His voice is really lovely to listen to. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book!!
I listen to a lot of books on Audible and enjoy most, but this book really resonated with me. It is narrated by the author and his engaging presence and easy listening style of narration really enhanced the experience of his amazing life in and around Hollywood. The ups and downs of that lifestyle, the fascinating real-life characters, and the authors ability to come back from each challenge that he faced kept my attention and left me wanting to hear more! Well done!
