Holly Hedrick, MD, is an attending pediatric and fetal surgeon in the Division of Pediatric General, Thoracic and Fetal Surgery at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She holds the Louise Schnaufer Endowed Chair in Pediatric Surgery. Loraine Ballard Morrill spoke to Dr. Hedrick about the remarkable advances that allow doctors to conduct fetal surgery that saves babies in utero.
