Holiday Promise

When Melody Bell starts caring for a young boy who lost his mom, she falls in love with him immediately. His sweet spirit lights up her life. She’s disappointed in how little he sees of his father, though, and tries to make up for it where she can. With the holidays in full swing, she finds ways to bring joy into the little boy’s world.

Blake Metcalf loves his son dearly, but every time he looks into the blue eyes he inherited from his mother his heart breaks. Life as a widower and a single dad was hard for him and the only way he knew to ease the pain was work more.

When Melody brings the subject of how much time he spends away from his son, Blake snaps back. Deep down he knows she’s right but he’s not interested in hearing the truth from someone who can’t understand how he feels or why.

As they slowly begin to bond because of the little boy they both love, things begin to change. It’s possible that a little boy can bring them all together at just the right time.
