I enjoyed the book, but it was way too short. I felt sorry for Hannah though. Her family treated her as if she was really crazy instead of helping her with her asking for help in her unusual way. It was good of Sam to recognize her situation and help her.

Tantalizing Audible book and story

Maren knows how to write a steamy book with a good story line. Just start this book early because you will not want to put it down .

First master of the castle audiobook for me

And I loved it! Rushing now to download book two. I read it a few years ago but now can’t wait to hear it. Sam and Hannah’s story was so easy to get lost in!

Love This Series!

This is a great series! The characters develop in a short time, but a believable progression. There is romance and got sexy time too! I could do with another narrator, but she doesn't ruin the story.

Utter Trash

I did not realize this was going to be so trashy. I got only through the first chapter and the supposedly professional intern was in heat the first 5 minutes that she had met a client. I guess I should’ve known when the first word in the entire book was a curse word. Don’t waste your money on this.

Poor writing, poor girl

I've never read a D/s or 'spanking' book where the 's' receives absolutely no pleasure. She gets beaten half to death twice in one night and the most she gets out of it is some corner time and (finally) some cuddling. Sorry, that's not why I read this type of book. Big thumbs down from me. Narration was adequate but not inspired. Editing is good - nothing there to detract from the story, such as it is.
If I hadn't gotten this one free from my Romance Package I'd be asking for my credit back - I'm most certainly not going to be continuing the series.
