Shannon Stacey can write romance so beautifully. This second chance romance is the perfect length as we meet Ava and Jace. 6 years ago, Jace left Ava in their hometown to seek his chance at fame and fortune. All their lives, they planned on writing songs and singing together, but when opportunity knocked, Jace answered it! Now he has come home and wants Ava back. Does she still love him? Will she be able to forgive and trust him again? Will they be able to write beautiful music together? I love Shannon's stories, they are full of romance, a little angst and a lot of passion. Ava is a great character, easy to relate to and you can feel her broken heart. Getting to Jace gives you that warm feeling of undying love, regret and wanting him to find his redemption.I loved this quick novella, it is fun, flirty and gives that heart warming feel.

Samantha Cook is always perfect during her performances. I love her voices, ability to switch to male characters with ease and always gives all the feels. Her portrayal of this couple is spot on with just the right amounts of sadness, passion and happiness.
