Publisher's summary

What turned loyal British colonists into armed traitors declaring their independence? Edmund Burke suggested the answer when he observed that in England, "the great contests for freedom were, from the earliest times, chiefly upon the question of taxes."

A Lot compressed into 30 minutes

Professor Fears gives an enlightening introduction to the events, times, and peoples that formed England's George III, as well as George III's impact on the world. Thirty minutes well spent.

Simply Great

Excellent lecture on the events leading to the Declaration of Independence. The narrator was knowledge and well spoken on this subject.
