Publisher's Summary

Throw out everything you think you know about history. Close the approved textbooks, turn off the corporate mass media, and whatever you do, don't believe anything you hear from the government---The Rise of the Fourth Reich reveals the truth about American power.

In this explosive new book, the legendary Jim Marrs, author of the underground best seller Rule by Secrecy, reveals the frighteningly real possibility that today the United States is becoming the Fourth Reich, the continuation of an ideology thought to have been vanquished more than a half century ago. This concept may seem absurd to those who cannot see past the rose-colored spin, hype, and disinformation poured out daily by the media conglomerates---most of which are owned by the very same families and corporations that supported the Nazis before World War II. But as Marrs precisely explains, National Socialism never died; rather, its hideous philosophy is alive and active in modern America. Unfortunately, most people cannot understand the shadowy links between fascism and corporate power, the military, and our elected leaders. Although the United States helped defeat the Germans in World War II, we failed to defeat the Nazis. At the end of the war, ranking Nazis, along with their young and fanatical proteges, used the loot of Europe to create corporate front companies in many countries, including the United States of America. Utilizing their stolen wealth, men with Nazi backgrounds and mentalities wormed their way into corporate America, slowly buying up and consolidating companies into giant multinational conglomerates. Many thousands of other Nazis came to the United States under classified programs, such as Project Paperclip. They brought with them miraculous weapons technology that helped win the space race, but they also brought their insidious Nazi philosophy within our borders. This ideology, based on the authoritarian premise that the end justifies the means.

The Rise of the Fourth Reich

Would you consider the audio edition of The Rise of the Fourth Reich to be better than the print version?

I have both the e-book and the audio book. Both are great assets to my library; the e-book gives me time to study more closely the material; while the audio version makes it much easy to go over the entire book over and over again.

What did you like best about this story?

To learn things about history I never knew. This book is extremely eye opening.

Have you listened to any of Paul Boehmer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I do not believe I have but I was very impressed with his reading of this book with all the German he did extremely well. He also keep the book moving and makes me want to go back to listen to it over and over to get as much out of the book as possible.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Learning how we defeated Germany in WWII but not the Nazi's and socalism. Jim Marrs brings out compelling evidence as to events of WWII I have never considered before. A very insightful work to anyone interested in knowing why socalism is so prevalent in Western society today.

Any additional comments?

I believe every American would be doing themselves a huge favor to read or listen to this book as it is extremely insightful.

I am at awe of how precise and awesome the truth of America is put in one book. This is a history book, a wake up call for Americans and the truth in the midst of all the lies being told in America today. Jim mars is an awesome knowledgeable Author, and a great researcher. He is a courageous Christian who is not affraid of puting the truth out there so many of us who are seeking truth can find the truth...buy this book its the best book I have ever listen to...get it its great..you will not be dissapointed. <br/><br/>The first Riech Roman Empire was destroyed from the inside out...not the outside in...Betrayed by its own people i am assuming for money! <br/>Wake up America

Who was your favorite character and why?

America the Babylon

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

How American,s were being lied too! How Hitlers thoughts and ways are being practiced in America today and Americans should be prepared for a takeover within our own Government. There are truly Strangers in the white house.

Any additional comments?

I pray they dont make a movie out of this book, due to the truth will be taken out.

Ahhhh if we would all just take a moment...

...to look behind the curtain. Thank you to Jim Marrs for always making it worth my time and energy to peek behind the curtain and get a different perspective on what is going on around us. You don't have to buy the whole bag, but if you can't at least listen and admit that it is not only plausible but probable then you are fully assimilated...resistance is futile.

The Rise of the Fourth Reich

There are books that you read or listen to that reaffirm your belief in the things you were taught growing up as a child. This is not that sort of book. Listening to it will at times anger and shock you as to the true nature of what you have been lead to believe by those who write our popular history. After World War II, the United States entered into an agreement to take in various Nazi war scientists and leaders in exchange for their research and methods of operation. We got the information that we desired, but we also got their perverted ideology. This has lead to much of which we deal with today. Warrant less wiretaps, searches and the like. The model of the authoritarian society that we see more and more today is not America as imaged by the founding fathers but a continuation of the Nazi model. Listen to this book only if you care to learn the truth of the challenges we face going ahead.

Confused

There are some interesting historical research here, a ton of interesting information and links between WW2 nazis and the USA. The problem with the book is it tries to link way too much, the author stretches some very tenuous links to support a vast global conspiracy. George Bush and Ted Kennedy part of the same National Socialist Nazi agenda.....?

MUST READ (listen)

Would you listen to The Rise of the Fourth Reich again? Why?

Even though it's 16hrs long, i would probably listen to it again. It is just a fascinating take on national socialism and it's impact in the post WWII world. It holds your attention easily and is very well researched.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Rise of the Fourth Reich?

I really liked the parts where they got in to secret nazi technology and hitler's search for esoteric antiquities. Also, the chapters covering Project Paperclip are just spellbinding and really makes you think about our western governments and how they are influenced by Hitler's Germany.

What about Paul Boehmer’s performance did you like?

Fantastic pronunciations of all the different German words and names, super helpful. He has a nice voice and smooth reading tone.

Any additional comments?

Get this book.. you will be blown away.

Outstanding!

Great book that uncovers the secret "happenings" in our country. Jim Marrs has been critisized for his work in the past because he asks the questions that people are afraid of the answers too.

Marrs is unimpeachable, but the book...

@Daniel - whoops! Looks like someone's confusing "Jews" with "Israel" again! One's a loosely-connected ethnic heritage/religious affiliation, one is a nation-state. "International financiers" and "international bankers" are crazy-anti-semitic-speak for Jews, but not usually in Marrs' terminology - in fact, he's often referring to the Rockefellers, Bushes, Farbin company descendants, etc.

The book is well done and well researched (though I might dispute the veracity of some of his sources) as all Marrs' books are. Though one must navigate the material with something of a critical eye (the Prescott Bush/Bush Family stuff is pretty well documented fact, whereas the Nazi superscience must necessarily be a product of rumors and slight documentation), the book tells an important story of the follies of corporate control of government (fascism being, in a sense, hypercapitalism) that's relevant to all free people today (look at today's conservative right/tea party/Wall St. contingent).
