Publisher's Summary

The Korean War started in the year 1950. The world nations, suffering from severe crises after the Second World War, converged into one more crisis which eventually developed into the Cold War. World nations were in a panic with the advent of thermonuclear weaponry. One of the significant wars that has close relations with the Cold War and occurred during this period was the Korean War. They call it a forgotten war by the Americans. The media did not expose too much about the Korean War for one reason or the other, unlike in the case of the Vietnam War or the Cuban missile conflicts.

    ""learning (wrong) is easy!""

Like so many Korean history books out there, a book like this (with laughably wrong information & left-out information) will dangerously shape reader's minds to misunderstand the Korean-US relationship. It's honestly insulting. Read (or at least watch videos of) Bruce Cumings. When one should read Cumings as a first step to embarking on the journey into Korean Studies, it amazes me how much disrespectfully wrong Korean History info is out there.
