Publisher's summary

November 22, 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the tragedy that has haunted America ever since. For the first time, this concise and compelling book pierces the veil of secrecy to fully document the small, tightly-held conspiracy that killed President John F. Kennedy. It explains why he was murdered, and how it was done in a way that forced many records to remain secret for almost 50 years.

The Hidden History of the JFK Assassination draws on exclusive interviews with more than two dozen associates of John and Robert Kennedy, in addition to former FBI, Secret Service, military intelligence, and Congressional personnel, who provided critical first-hand information. The book also uses government files - including the detailed FBI confession of notorious Mafia godfather Carlos Marcello - to simply and clearly reveal exactly who killed JFK. Using information never published before, the book uses Marcello's own words to his closest associates to describe the plot.

This book builds on the work of the last Congressional committee to investigate JFK's murder, which concluded that JFK "was probably assassinated as a result of a conspiracy," and that godfathers "[Santo] Trafficante [and Carlos] Marcello had the motive, means, and opportunity to assassinate President Kennedy."

Compelling

The information given in this book is very compelling and thought provoking. The narration is very nice. However, the authors self promoting, narcissistic style really detracts from the experience. Mr. Waldron may have been a carnival barker in a previous life!

ties up everything

this is the best attempt to tie together oswald, ruby, and the govt’s inability to bring about the real story….Waldron really covers the bases…some people criticize it as too speculative but when you have look at all the answers and nothing makes sense, whatever is left is the truth

Comprehensive

Very in depth-maybe too much. Some parts were hard to follow for me. But definitely a deep dive into the JFK assassination. By far the best explanation of events I have seen so far.

Fascinating

As a child who grew up in the post Kennedy era the shadows cast on JFK’s murder have created a lifetime of intrigue. There are so many theories and angles it’s hard to decipher the truth. However, after reading Five Families, The Rise Fall and Resurgence of the American Mafia, it’s clear they hand their hands it but God only knows how deep it goes. This is a great read that sheds light on specifics of the plot to kill JFK which few know.

Fantastic

This is an amazing insight to the assassination of JFK. Not only does it delve into all aspects but the writer backs all his references almost every time with where he got them making this very compelling. I listened while at work and there were a handful of times I just had to pause and process what I was hearing. Great book. Will research more into this for sure!

A logical narrative

I was 13 when JFK was killed. Something about the narrative didn’t feel right to me then. As witness accounts began to be shared it was obviously multiple shooters. What wasn’t clear until this research was the reasons for all the hiding and lying. And the connections to MLK and RFK. What a mess…

A convincing and researched theory of the assassination

Appears to be a well researched analysis of the political circumstances surrounding the Assassination. Does not stray into any obvious friends bye theories. An interesting read.
