Kind of boring

I have all of Brenda Jackson books. This one actually showed out out of touch the writing is from a 2019 prospective. The language was off. How many black navy seals use the term “swell”. The last few books have left me rolling my eyes. Sorry to say about an romance icon.

Love isn’t all rainbows & kisses but.....

I’ve been a fan of Brenda Jackson for a long time and I heard this book wasn’t that great from a few other long time fans, but I gave it a chance anyway. I’ll just say I don’t remember what chapter I stopped on before looking for another option.

We all know marriage has it ups and downs but call a thing a thing, especially if the habits are unhealthy. I don’t think glamorizing unhealthy habits is the way to go but I didn’t make it to the end to find out if it changed.

Thank goodness Audible lets you return and get a replacement.

Stretch

I love Brenda Jackson books, but this one was yo me a fill in and not necessary. I would’ve preferred to use my credit on s more exciting story. I love Ron Butler though

Love it

Had to listen twice. It was so good. The characters came alive through the narrator. Thanks Mrs. Jackson for another wonderful adventure.

Enjoyable

The hero sounds like a lot of men who have all the answers. Ron Butler is a fantastic narrator. Me Jackson's writing is wonderful as always. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Pretty Good...

I usually enjoy anything by Brenda Jackson and this is no exception, however, this one was sorta slow. I think she or the narrator missed a couple of points for dramatic presentation. Good story just slow for BSJ.
