Publisher's Summary

What’s meant to be a short business trip turns into something much more.

Determined to achieve her dreams, Summer packs up and moves to Las Vegas with the promise of earning some quick cash. Little does she know that her new job means flirting with every man who looks her way - but everything changes when she hears that smooth British accent.

Harrison’s life is his company. He isn’t looking to add a woman to his hectic schedule, but when a shy cocktail waitress catches his eye, he’s powerless to walk away. Sparks fly, and Summer and Harrison embark on a whirlwind romance that could offer them their happily ever after - if they can accept it.

For fans of alpha heroes with British accents, Tracy Lorraine’s steamy contemporary romance will whisk you off your feet.

His Manhattan

I could not get past the narration and don’t think Guy Veryzer is the right narrator for this book. He sounds a bit too old for the characters. It is a shame because I thought the book sounded really good. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Wrong narrator

It might be just me, but the narrator sounds like he's in his 70s. I couldn't get into it.

Nope

Story sounded interesting but I just could not stomach the narration. His voice sounds like an extremely old man, it just not fit with the story.

3 stars

This story had potential and started off well with good writing and interesting characters. The story wrapped up too quickly with too many unanswered questions to be satisfying. Listened to the audio book; and, while the voice for the male part was good, the voice for the female part was too breathy and dramatic.

Loved it

Loved the characters and loved the story. Although I wish it had a more elaborate HEA.

Quick and fun

This series is full of quick, steamy listens and Tracy Lorraine comes through with some Vegas heat! Harrison comes to Vegas with his brother for a business trip. He has no intention of taking in the sights, until Summer, a waitress comes into his view. There is immediate chemistry, but Summer has plans and Harrison isn't looking for a relationship. But what these two don't realize is sometimes the luck of the roll is on their side! Harrison is a little stuffy, but with Summer, he is able to let go and really come to life. Summer has her future planned and while Harrison is handsome, does he fit into her goals? This quick, steamy listen is all that and more. Narration by Guy Veryzer will take you to their world. Though he sounds a little older than I expect for this story, he gives a good British accent to Harrison and I really enjoyed his voice for Summer.
