Publisher's Summary

"I haven’t settled down because I don’t believe there’s anyone out there worth settling down for.”

Alpha Nathan Garnet is cocky - and he knows it. Wealthy and successful, he prides himself on his conquests. But when one smart mouthed omega tells him no, Nathan can’t keep himself from being intrigued...or from the thrill of the chase.

“He makes me want to scream - in all the best ways.”

If something bad has happened to a person in a relationship, it’s happened to Damon Bishop. Damon desperately wants to be loved, but growing up a bit of an ugly duckling has left him with less than stellar self-esteem.

His affair with Nathan isn’t meant to last. Too bad no one told that to the passion growing between them.

Welcome to Heaven’s Ballroom, the most luxurious club in the city - with the hottest omega dancers. This mpreg audiobook features one arrogant alpha, an omega who fiercely guards his heart, and the hope that blooms when two broken men surrender to the power of love.

Oh, this series! This series is gold ♥

I love this story, I loved the characters, and I love the storyline.

Damon and Nate are just such good characters, but I particularly love Damon, who is working so hard to improve his life and who suddenly finds that all of it crumble around him.

Both of them have their issues when it comes to relationships, but, even when the problem between them is communication, I like that is not because of them not trying, but for reasons beyond themselves... to a point :P

A lovely romance in a lovely series :D

And Stephen Van Doren does an excellent job narrating this story.

great sweet story

His Broken Angel is the second book in the Heaven's Ballroom series by Aiden Bates. Sweet story with a touch of miscommunication frustration, humorous moments, steamy interactions and sweet connections.I think Nathan and Damon are great characters and I really liked them together. I also like the hints we get for future stories.

The audiobook is narrated by Stephen Van Doren and is done very well. Smooth and clear voicework and recording. Very enjoyable performance.

Read the book then listened to audio version

I love the Heaven's Ballroom series. Read the book first and then listened to the audio. Nathan a cocky Alpha pursues Damon and Omega dancer at Heaven's Ballroom. Nathan always gets what he wants. Or does he? As one would expect, you get a different perspective when hearing a narration versus creating the character's voices in your head. I would recommend this book both ways.

Keeps Getting Better And Better!

I am highly enjoying this series. I'm a huge fan of Aiden Bates, and have listened to practically all of his book. He is one of my favorite authors. Damon and Nathan's, it just goes to show you that opposite's do attract, and when you find the right one hold on. Now, for Stephen Van Doren and his voice acting for these characters, One word, SUPERB. The way he is bringing and giving them life, I love it. He's one of the best voice actors out here. If your looking for a good Alpha/Omega series to listen to, I recommend you start with this series. You will not be disappointed. For me, it's on to the next book!🤗

Maybe broken, but we'll rewarded in the end.

Catnaps, cat nappers, cat treats, cat fights, and stolen cats. Twice. No condoms. No morning after pill, stalkers, broken phones, broken promises, broken angels, good friends, good fathers, good grief. This was to be a short story. A really good story.

Instead it is great! Be careful, Kieran. Run!

Return to Heaven’s Ballroom

Nathan Garnet gets what he wants. He wants Damon Bishop. Damon has had enough bad experiences, that make him want nothing to do with Nathan. Nathan finally gets some time with Damon. Once he gets his foot in the door, Nathan makes a good impression on Damon. They have a wonderful night, then fate gets in the way. Despite some struggles, there is an HEA ending. Return to Heaven’s Ballroom, hear the whole story and enjoy. Love listening to Stephen Van Doren. Aiden, keep up the good work!

Damon Gets His Story

Damon is so sweet and hard working, but also a very tough omega. Between dancing at Heaven's Ballroom and his class schedule and NYU he is constantly on the move. No time for dating and no desire for it either. Cocky Alpha's he's had enough of, especially after his last boyfriend stole his cat and moved across country with him.
Enter Nathan, a gorgeous well built, in all the right places, alpha starts sending him drinks, Damon refuses and sends them back. Nathan then finds out Damon's favorite drink and that one gets sent back as well. Nathan can't believe an omega is telling him no. That's never happened, so of course he has to have Damon now. Nathan puts alot of work into getting Damon's attention and when he has it he spends more time proving to Damon that Nathan is indeed worth that attention.
They get closer than ever and they are beginning to experience deep feeling for each other, maybe even love. Then through a series of misunderstanding on both their parts and so people sticking their noses where they don't belong Damon believes Nathan is ghosting him and Nathan thinks Damon is ducking him. Ugh, it makes you want to smack them both. In the midst of this Damon makes another big mistake and now he's pregnant with Nathan's baby and he loses his scholarship due to one of Nathan's friends butting in.
Nathan gets some good advise and makes his move so now lets see if Damon will go for the best thing that's ever happened to him.
I absolutely love this series.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Loved it

I loved listening to this book and following Damon as he realises that Nathan is not a bad alpha to see but then events happen that split them up and they loose communication both wondering why the other won’t talk. But they sort it out in the end. I loved that the narrator brought lady and cleocatra to life

Good story

The ballroom angels stories continue with this one about Nathan and Damon. Loved the different voices for the characters, really made this book great to listen to. Looking forward to the third audiobook in this series. Each story gives a short ‘taste’ of the next book.
