Publisher's summary

An experienced Texas ranch hand reluctantly falls for his much younger, very accident-prone coworker in this gay cowboy romance from acclaimed author A.M. Arthur.

Wyatt Gibson is in Texas looking for answers about his past. When he talks his way into a job at Woods Ranch, he never imagines that the hot cowboy he (almost) slept with the night before not only works there, but is the one showing him the ropes.

As a rustler at the ranch, Jackson Summer handles all sorts of things: mucking, herding, grooming, riding—and minding his own damn business. A lifetime of hurt will do that to a guy. What he never imagines handling is the greenest cowboy to ever step foot in Weston, Texas.

Jackson is determined to keep his heart safe—and falling for a hot young thing like Wyatt is definitely not safe. Especially because Jackson knows Wyatt is keeping a secret…one that he can’t quite put his finger on but that just might change life at Woods Ranch forever.

More Hearts and Tears for Woods Ranch!

More sexy cowboys from A.M. Arthur. I am so glad Jackson got a book. I was totally rooting for him.
This one is about new comer Wyatt Gibson who comes to Woods Ranch to find out more about his biological dad. I just love the way A.M. Arthur has all these things plotted out! Wyatt of course falls for Jackson, the ex of his "maybe daddy". So that is complicated and kind of hilarious if you think about it too hard. Ha!

Jackson is so grumpy and sweet, and of course we see more of his dog named Dog. We also get to see Jackson's strange and cool living situation. We learn more about Jackson's past and why it's so hard for him to trust others. . . will he forgive Wyatt for keeping his reason for coming to Wood's ranch a secret. . . wait and see!

It's A.M. Arthur, so of course there is a scary bit. And we get to see Rainy again too. I love her, hope she gets her own HEA some day.

I listed to this book on Audible. Michael Dean did an excellent job narrating.

Jackson’s HEA

This series just keeps getting better! I was so excited to see Jackson was getting his story, and the introduction of Wyatt is excellent. I love that we get additional snippets of Hugo and Brand’s continuing story and a little glimpse of Michael and Josiah as well, plus the amazing Raimy. A good love story, some mystery action, a bunch of loose threads coming together for a big reveal, and Dog finally tells us her true name. Great story; devastated that I now have to wait for the next one!
