About the Creators

Dennis Haley and Marcy Brown are award-winning writers who just happen to be married to each other. (It shortens the commute.) In addition to their Emmy win and nominations, they won the Humanitas prize for Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks. Jakers! also brought them the experience of seeing Mel Brooks read their jokes—and laugh. (There's no statue for that, but it's just as treasured.)
In addition to their screenwriting, Dennis and Marcy have performed stand-up and improv, and visited schools to speak about writing, creativity, and the power of words. Yet their cats remain unimpressed.
